Corporate Wellness Overview
Stress is Costly
Because more than 50% of adults report high stress daily, it is likely that stress takes an enormous toll at every work place. If employees do not learn how to reduce stress, over time it can seriously effect job performance, personal health and well being.
Mindfulness Reduces Stress
Our program has been consistently documented as highly effective in teaching participants to become more responsible in the management of their own health, vitality and healing. The majority of participants completing our program report more effective skills in managing stress and lasting decreases in medical and psychological symptoms. In addition, program graduates report increases in energy, work enjoyment and personal well-being.
Based on the ground-breaking work of Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and supported by extensive, widely published research, our program teaches the skills of healthy living, wellness and stress management. It is designed for people who want to take an active role in their own vitality and health care and learn more positive responses to stress in their daily lives.
Our “Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction” (MBSR) and wellness program is unique and considerably different from more generic “Educational-Based” stress reduction and wellness programs. There is no other occupational wellness program backed by the substantial clinical research that has been conducted on MBSR.
